Where Long Term Healing Is Possible
If you’re looking for individual therapy in St. George, Utah, you may feel overwhelmed by your emotions or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. Many approaches to therapy focus on talking through your experiences, which can be helpful—but often doesn’t fully shift what’s happening underneath the surface.
In our work together, we focus less on just talking and more on how your experiences show up in your body and nervous system in real time. Using a somatic and EMDR-informed approach, I help you regulate your emotions and begin to shift patterns in a way that feels more grounded and lasting.
A Different Process
Many approaches to therapy focus on changing behavior, because that’s often what people come in wanting relief from. But when the deeper emotional patterns underneath aren’t addressed, change can feel short-lived.
Emotions—and how you experience them in your body—are often the driving force behind behavior. At times, those emotions can feel too big or overwhelming to hold, so we try to think our way through them instead of actually feeling them. This is why many people understand why they do what they do, but still feel stuck and unable to change it.
Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, trauma therapy, or support for anxiety in St. George, Utah, this approach is designed to help you create meaningful, lasting change.
What It’s Like To Work Together.
In our work together, I help you build the capacity to stay with your emotions, even when they’re uncomfortable. A somatic and EMDR-informed approach focuses on working with your nervous system and how your body holds onto experiences. Instead of only talking about what’s happening, we pay attention to what you’re noticing physically in the moment and use that awareness to guide the work.
This allows you to process emotions and past experiences, including trauma, so you can feel what you feel—rather than just think about it—and create more lasting, meaningful change.
Much of the work I do is trauma-informed, helping you understand how past experiences may be shaping what you feel and how you respond.

My Services
If you’re feeling stuck in any of these patterns, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
For individuals looking to work through trauma including C-PTSD, childhood trauma, religious trauma, and insecure attachment. I also work with clients wanting to learn to regulate their emotions and nervous system.
I primarily use somatic EMDR and nervous system awareness for trauma work
I also use a concept of natural processing where you gently build resilience to what is coming up in therapy rather than dipping deep in to past trauma immediately.
